Fringecore releases are generally linked to the band on the company’s management roster, or associated therewith, i.e. The Swans, Black Pig Liberation Front, Angels of Light, Intimate Stranger, David Coulter, etc.
Accordingly, they are relatively infrequent, eclectic, unique and highly sought-after.
Many have brought together unusual combinations and experiences- experiments in sound and music genres, such as the wok of Thurston Moore with DJ Low or the Black pig Liberation Front. Recent releases have taken the label into the pop genre.
Fringecore previously held the European distribution for Young God Records. Current the Fringecore label is distributed through Forced Exposure in the USA and Lowlands in Europe.
